This arrangement features piccolo trumpet in A as the solo voice, with a supportive quintet texture that maintains rhythmic vitality without over-thickening the accompaniment. To increase accessibility, optional C trumpet parts are provided for both trumpet players, allowing the piece to be performed comfortably by ensembles without piccolo trumpet or transposing instruments.
